Columbo: Dead Weight (1971)

An evil military guy doesn't realize that a lady has witnessed him murdering another guy.  Once he knows it, he pretends to want to date her.

Burn! The mother even encouraged her divorced daughter to date the killer.

 Killer has a revolving book case. Classic. You never see those nowadays. 

People drink liquor in almost every scene, as in most 1970s tv shows... except now with a candelabra. Who owns those?
